What sort of a project is this?
'Give a helping hand in combating vandalism' is a consciousness-raising project, which has schoolgoing youngsters as its target group.

What is the goal of this project?
Shortly summarised: combating vandalism, increasing social safety, and promoting a sense of responsibility, positive behaviour and consciousness among youngsters.

How is this realised?
The students are visited at their respective schools by a special reconstructed 'anti-vandalism bus' - consequently the students are informed, on a contemporary way, about vandalism. These information sessions take thus place both in this bus as in regular classrooms.

By whom was this project founded?
Cor and Dicky Sterkenburg: an ordinary Dutch couple from Franeker, a small city in the northern part of the Netherlands. Together they have been trying to combat vandalism for more than 9 years.

What are the total costs of this project?
This project costs the earth. The founders themselves defray a great deal of these costs. Furthermore, the project counts with the courtesy of sponsors and supporters.
